What to Expect

When you attend Epikos on the weekend, you will encounter an environment of acceptance, creativity, and fun. You will experience heartfelt worship with a bit of energy and Bible teaching that makes the story real. You will have a chance to hang out in the Café Ever After, a fun place to experience community. We hope you'll make some friends and find a meaningful way to share your talents. Feel free to dress casually; you will fit right in.

We promise you four things:

  • You will be accepted as you are.
  • You will have fun.
  • You will understand everything that happens.
  • You will be appropriately challenged to take a next step spiritually.
JoyStory, our kids' program (serving ages 1-6), meets every Saturday at 5:00 (the same time as the main program). The class for kids 7-10 meets the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Beginning in January, the 7-10 class will meet every week.

Once a month in our weekend experience, we celebrate the retro-practice of communion. Unlike baptism, which is a one-time event, communion is a tradition that is meant to be observed throughout the life of a Christian. It is a time when we come together as a community to remember and celebrate what Jesus did for us on the cross. The bread and juice are symbols, representing Jesus's body and blood, in remembrance of His enduring sacrifice. Epikos practices open communion, which means that, no matter what religious background you have, if you're a follower of Jesus, you're invited to participate
